Chaz Strickland is a stage manager and scenographer currently based in NYC. His work curates grounded spaces that support collaboration, exploration, innovation, and inclusion, through both an organizational and creative lens. As a manager and creator he is focused on clarity and collaboration and uses paperwork, strong communication skills and sketching and model making to clearly lay out ideas, get people on the same page, and achieve logistically challenging theatrical spectacles.

Chaz is an alum of the Production and Design Studio at NYU, where he studied Scenic and Costume Design. He has worked with The Public Theater, The Muny, HERE Arts, and North Carolina Theater. He is also a frequent collaborator with the graduate department at NYU, and loves working with acting and design students.
